Flags A'Flying has a terrific riding school available to those who do not have their own horse. This is a great fit for children or adults who have never ridden before, or college students who would like to continue getting to ride while at A&M but cannot have a horse of their own while in college.
If you or your child has never ridden before, please see the New to Riding page for an overview of what starting out looks like.
Riding School Programs
Prospective riders are welcome to come watch lessons to see what the program is like. Up to three trial lessons (paid per lesson) are welcome to make sure Flags A'Flying is a good fit. After the 3rd trial lesson riders must continue in one of the Riding School Programs below. Riders can start mid-semester if there is room to accommodate them. Commitments are made on a monthly basis, not a semester basis, but extra opportunities for the Intermediate/Graduate programs are done on a semester schedule.
Spring Semester: January-May
Summer Semester: June, July, August
Fall Semester: September-December
